Sydney is a wonderful, talented Wire Fox Terrier. Sydney's sculpture was custom needle felted. The base of the sculpture was shaped of fleece wool and Merino wool and contained a reinforcing, flexible metal wire that allowed to adjust the dog's pose to some degree. Sydney's coat was created of Merino wool, silk / Merino wool blend and Mohair, and his beautiful brown eyes were made of glass. Sydney's accessories  - his red collar and realistic Penn tennis ball - were also handmade by needle felting (Merino wool).  In a sitting position, this finely detailed sculpture measures to be 3½ x 6 x 7 inches (9 x 15 x 17 cm).
